Based in the UK, Acre Resources is a job recruitment web site that specializes in the environmental sector. The web site posts job opportunities and allows job seekers to submit their CV in response to specific jobs or to simply register and put their CV on file.
Acre’s web administration department wanted to reduce the large amount of inquiries from job seekers who after submitting their CV want to know the matriculation process by modifying the CV submission work-flow.
Solution
Among the changes Running Code included:
- Specific job description that was viewable with an expand/collapse button, while user was submitting CV;
- Added new pages that explained appeared what happens next to users CV once submitted. This page was broken down into three illustrated sections.
Client benefits
Due to the workflow adjustments, particularly the post-CV submission pages, job seekers are better informed of the process flow after CVs are submitted onto the site, thus greatly decreasing the amount of time and resources Acre spends on fielding and handling inquiries.
